hey guys. this is only the 70th post. please post more. like seriously, one month ago there were 50 posts. so you can see how far it has come. c'mon, the other day i was looking at another class's blog and it was really nice and lively. and i know you dont want this class blog to dieeee. so yea since i'm sounding quite irritating, i shall stop here. i hope i've made my point.

on a different note though, yay we're having a class party tomorrow! have fun everybody, and please be kind to the vegetarian. thank you. :D haha. no it's okay, bring watever non veg stuff you want to bring, i'll make do with something veg. :D

there is a racial harmony dance competition. IT IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL SEC ONE CLASSES. Here are the details from inet:

RACIAL HARMONY DAY 2008

SECONDARY 1 DANCE COMPETITION

THEME : UNITY IN DIVERSITY

Based on the theme for the Racial Harmony Day 2008 (RHD ’08), all secondary 1 classes are invited to participate in a dance competition. The top three classes will stand to win attractive prizes and showcase their dance on RHD on 21^st July 2008.

DANCE GUIDELINES

· Dance presentations must be relevant to the theme., which can be based on students’ perception of the theme

· Dance presentations must include integration of cultures

· Although there is no limit on the number of performers in each presentation, every dance must be made up of students from the same class.

· Maximum time allotted for each presentation will be approximately (5) minutes. (A timer will be used.)

· An oral introduction MUST precede the dance presentation. Introductions should not exceed one minute,.

· Costumes, stage props, and music are the responsibility of the participants and should be kept to a minimum for easy set-up and removal.

· Stage set-up is limited to two (2) minutes.

· Judges will award points as indicated in the following criteria:

ΠRelevance to the theme

ΠIntegration of cultures

 Originality of the presentation

Ž Clarity of the presentation

 Entertainment value

INSTRUCTIONS

All Secondary 1 classes MUST SUBMIT THEIR PROPOSALS BY THURSDAY 16^th May 2008 to Miss Sylvia Khoo by 1200hrs.

Use the attached form for your proposal, and it should clearly include the following:

 Title of the dance presentation

Ž Synopsis on the presentation and its relevance

anyone free on monday? come ice skating! its at Jurong. MRT red line to the end then its right in front of the interchange! i can wait at the interchange in case you dont know the way. 10am-12+pm. skates+entry+lunch (mac/food court) is around $20. AND YOU DONT HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO SKATE! its very fun!

But somehow it still doesn't feel that MYA's over since i still have to stay back for CO prac which makes me really drained. ):
okayyy... i realised that i'm writing lots of non-relevant stufff... but see, i can elaborate :D.
ANW, at least IN MY OPINION,

• ENGLISH WAS PRETTY TOUGH, with some lines that were rather beyond my comprehenion. ):
• CHINESE WAS QUITE OKAYYY, at least I hope I won't get dismal results for HMT again.
• GEOGRAPHY WAS TOTALLY WEIRD, with almost everyone getting different answers.
• HISTORY WAS MANAGEABLE. (i think)
• PHYSICS WAS SUCH A KILLER.
• MATHS WAS QUITE EASY, and i srly hope i won't have any silly careless mistakes. hopefully.

erm.... ANYONE WANTS TO GO TO MY PRIMARY SCHOOL TO GIVE A TALK?
I'll be going with probably 2 other people from 105 and 2 RI boys. We will advertise for RGS and the RI boys for RI (obviously -.-). My primary school is hougang primary. We will talk to only two classes at one time. It will be during school hours, around week 9. I have to let my teacher know by week 8(this week) and he will give the details.
